From freight trains to distorted guitars, lightning to cowbells, God's creation is full of sound, and sound brings me joy. Throughout school I played saxophone in the band. Ultimately it was drumming at a friends house playing along to our favorite albums that ignited the desire to play and even write music. Soon to follow was a purchase of my first guitar. Many years later I would add bass and simple keys to my abilities. Each group from school band, worship bands, to rock bands fueled my desire to both write and play. Through God's grace I am enjoying the fruit of those experiences.

Music has been a driving force in my life since the age of 3 when I was singing along with Beech Boys songs. I briefly had piano lessons at 8, but my passion was for drums and I began formal instruction at 10. Within a year I was also learning guitar, and by 13 I was forming bands and starting to compose songs. I've been blessed with decades of playing, writing, performing and recording. For audiences as few as 5 and up to about 15,000, but since the late 1980's primarily for an audience of ONE who gave me this gift, which has become an ever important focus with each year that passes.

Born in the early 60's in Ohio; Raised by a Single Mom in El Paso, Texas. She shared all kinds of music with my Brother and I - R&B, Soul, Funk, Rock, Pop, Country. She divorced my biological Father when I was only one. Separated from him for over 10 years, I became an Army Brat through a step father of which three and a half of those years we lived in Germany. At age 11, my Grandmother, on my Mom's side, arranged a secret meeting in Kentucky for my Brother & I to meet our real Father. It was a Magic Moment. He then left his childhood home in Kentucky and moved to Indiana, where he met his new found Bride. They both found work at General Motors. In 1977, arrangements were made for my Brother & I to fly to Indiana for the summer to be with our Father. We never went back to Texas.

Started working full time at the age of 15, eventually following in my Father's footsteps by finding my own Indiana Sweetheart [married in Dec. of '96] and landing a factory job at Rolls-Royce with 28 years of service so far.

Through a patient & kind friend, I was lead to Christ through God's Holy Spirit on October 29th, 1989. It was an earlier girlfriend who coaxed me into singing a duet with her at our Church. After that, I was approached by the Music Minister to sing on their Worship Team. I quickly became hooked on the Joy of Praising God through song. It was a few years later when a Brother-In-Christ told me about 3 guys who were in a Christian Rock Band & needed a Lead Vocalist. They gave me a shot at an audition and I never looked back. Thirty-four years later, I'm still Praising God through song.
